Mia Moering

Hi everyone! My name is Mia Moering. This is my second year teaching, and I am ecstatic to continue student growth at Horn Lake Elementary, especially with my awesome second graders!

I am originally from Pensacola, Florida, and have lived in DeSoto County for over two years. I attended college at the University of Southern Mississippi to earn my bachelor's degree in Elementary Education and a recent graduate from the University of Memphis with my master's in Instruction and Curriculum.

I enjoy traveling, photography, and caring for my puppy, Kohl. I am excited for this school year and can not wait to adventure through second grade!
