My name is Shannon Capps. This is my 16th year as an educator and my fourth year at HLES. I'm the Title One Interventionist/Instructional Coach. I conduct interventions with all students, kindergarten through second grade. I love teaching reading and phonics. I graduated from the University of Memphis with a Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education and have my Master's Degree in Reading from Arkansas State University. I'm married to a wonderful man named Kendall and we have two daughters ages four and two. I'm looking forward to a fantastic year of learning and loving children!
